TIDBITS DAYCARE DAILY SCHEDULE
Our day begins upon arrival of the first child and ends upon departure of the last child each day.
Children will be encouraged, but will never be forced to participate in any activity. Daily schedule will reflect activities in the educational curriculum for that week.

 

 

  • 6:00AM    Drop off

  • 7:00AM to 08:30am -Breakfast/Clean Up – Served from 7:00AM to 08:30am. We will clean up after breakfast and begin our daily activities

  • 9:45 am - Circle Time - Children will be given an opportunity to share any news or special experiences.

  • 10:00AM FREE PLAY - Outdoor playtime, or free play if outdoor conditions do not allow us to go outside. Children will choose their own games and activities.  There will be a variety of toys, games, and activities available to the children geared toward enhancing their growth and development.

  • 10:30 am - Am Snack

  • 11:30-am   Clean up.  Toys are put away and hands are washed before lunch.

  • 11:30 am TO 12:OOPM  Lunch/ we take advantage of learning the names of the fruits/vegetables we are enjoying.

  • 12:00 pm     Nap / Quiet Play – Those children who have not fallen asleep by this time may play quietly.  There are books, puzzles, educational games and a variety of toys available for quiet play.

  • 2:30-3:00 pm     Wake-Up/ Afternoon snack. Children will be woken up from nap and once settled they will have an afternoon snack

  • 3:00 pm      Circle Time - Afternoon circle time gives us a chance to say good-bye to friends.  Those children who were not present during the early morning are given an opportunity to share any news or special experiences.  During this time we will sing interactive songs and read a story.  Weather permitting we would go outside/ during warm climates parents are encouraged to check the play area as this will be the pickup area.

  • 4:30-5:00 pm     Clean up. Toys are put away and hands and faces are freshened up for mom and dad to pick up. Toys are to be put back before the child leaves for the day.
